About GeekGlossary.com
This project was originally started in 2002 as a study tool for students in entry level computer technology classes at Greenville Technical College. In July 2014, the project was ported to PHP5 and mySQL. In May 2015 the project was made "mobile-friendly" by adding the Bootstrap framework created by Twitter. GeekGlossary.com continues to grow. We now include terms from the open-source project Linux Dictionary (v0.16) by Binh Nguyen. We hope that this glossary is helpful to not only our computer technology students at Greenville Technical College, but to geeks around the world!
